My Reaction:
As the rapid development of technology, we can take chances to try many new or adventurous things in our lives. In my opinion, I think that going to the outer space is a absolutely cool thing. Although it may cost a large amount of money, if I get an opportunity, I will go traveling and see what the outer space looks like. In the future, we can board the plane or a space ship which the destination is a gigantic world or place few of us have seen or understood it before. It will be very meaning for me if I have this kind of experience.
Besides, we can have convenient and high-tech lives is attributed to the progresses and the inventions we human beings have made. Sometimes I feel amazing to see or know some incredible inventions or ideas which can lead us to our future more quickly. Had it not been for scientists ‘and other professional people’s hard works in every different fields, our lives may just like ten years before that don’t have any special thing or important
change. Therefore, maybe one day when I get to the outer space and see how magnificent the universe is, I will be grateful for the people who are dedicated in this subject and be touched by how great the achievement we have done.(224 words)

My Reaction:
I have never thought about that surfing the Internet does good to our brains. In my opinion, I always thought of that surfing the Internet just increases our nearsightedness to everyone and if we do it for a very long time, it will turn our health into bad conditions. As people grow old, the ability of memorizing and our brains’ activities are gradually decreasing. Some of the adults may easily forget anything involved themselves because of their brains’ function disappearing. It is an useful and important discovery to the human beings. With this discovery, the adults may not have problems or difficulties they had before.
Although this discovery is helpful to us , I think it is still have some flaws if we keep surfing the Internet. For the teenagers or some people who likes to play the computer, as the rapid development of the technology and Internet ,it will waste the time keeping surfing the Internet. What’s worse, they are likely to be addicted to it and forget to do something very important. Consequently, surfing the Internet can boost aging brains but it may also do harm to our health. No matter how old or how young we are, we should control our time surfing the Internet so that we can reach the effect of this discovery.(218 words)

my reaction:
In fact , I have not ever thought about that learning by playing video games can be a useful way. For many examples I have heard before , their creators didn’t build complete systems so that the users couldn’t reach the best learning effects . Beside , I think the games of its kind seems a little bit or very boring for we users because of lacking in entertaining functions . According to the report , to my surprise , the American’s educational institutes and technological companies now improve the quality of the contents and enrich the games to unite learning efficiency and amusement .
However , it also has some flaws learning with computer games . Because of the development of the Internet , many people are indulged in the on-line games and it is very difficult to get rid of this bad habits. Therefore, students may be addicted to the games and spend too much time on the game. They are likely to forget the real purpose when playing this games. For this reason, middle school should call upon not to spend too much time on playing this games and emphasize the meaning of doing the activity. What’s more ,the computer companies should put the video game on the Internet and the school set a limited time which is just open for students to practice.(227 words)

There has been no lights, camera or action in Bollywood since Wednesday, when roughly 150,000 film workers began a strike to demand better wages, less punishing working hours and a ban on non-unionized labor.

It is very common to see strikers demonstrating on the street in many countries .Every time I see the news on the TV ,I think the strikers are very brave to fight for their life living .In my opinion ,our societies have too many problems so it is much more difficult to find a effective resolution or a balance between the people involved .Besides, sometimes the government does not be in his shoes to consider labors’ or strikers’ conditions and the consequences of every decision the government has made. Take this incident for example, it shows that the government doesn’t pay much attention on the entertainment industry and try to solve the problem as soon as possible. What’s more, the government can’t use their authority to intimidate the people whose jobs are related to the entertainment industry.
However, it reminds me of the playwrights’ strike in Hollywood which also caused serious loss for their noncooperation. Although the demonstrators are different from the Bollywood’s , it is obvious that the American and Indian governments both have a incorrect attitude towards these two events. Waiting for the end of the strike is helpless to solve the problem. Because it will happen again and again. Therefore, both sides should compromise a little and find a radical resolution to recover the society. (218 words)
